Record-seeking Rooney seeks historic goal

- Charlie McCann of Bet Victor gives StarBets his top tips

MANCHESTER United are 8-11 at BetVictor to maintain their good recent record at West Brom today.

But the Baggies (9-2) have quietly cemented their place in the top half of the division and this will be no walk in the park for the Red Devils.

The home side have won three of the last six games between the teams in the league, including by a single goal in the corresponding fixture in March.

Wayne Rooney (right) needs one more goal away from home to be the top scorer on the road in the history of the PL and the United skipper is 13-8 to find the back of the Albion net.

West Brom’s Salomon Rondon became only the second player in Premier League history to score a hat-trick of headers earlier this week against Swansea. The striker is 20-1 to score against United inside the first 15 minutes at The Hawthorns and we bet 16-1 there will be a hat-trick scored (any player).

United did well to take the points at Selhurst Park during the week and they may again have to be patient in the search for all three points. The recommendation is draw half-time and United full-time at 15-4 with BetVictor.

United are into 11-8 for a top four finish and they need to keep winning given the quality of those above them. Those teams include neighbours City and Arsenal who meet tomorrow at the Etihad.

Many have suggested Arsene Wenger’s side were bullied out of it at Everton but I’m not convinced and feel they can bounce back. City are 11-10 with the draw 27-10 and the Gunners at 12-5.

There are usually goals between these two and I f ancy a 3-1 away win at our 28-1.
