THE Satan-obsessed son of a far-right politician was last night in custody after three people were shot in a school gun rampage.
Kylian Barbey, 17, reportedly had a shotgun, two revolvers and a backpack carrying fake grenades.
The secondary school’s head and two pupils were last night in a serious condition and five more people were hurt.
Teenagers told of “total panic” as police swarmed the school to arrest the crazed gunman.
One student, called Achraf, added: “The gunshots were just four or five metres from where we were.
“We thought the gunman was coming towards us. We heard him shout. I know the gunman by sight.
“He was gentle and low-key, not a nasty guy.”
Another student said: “I went to close windows and saw a guy looking at me in the eyes. He seemed to be a student and not big. He shot in the air and ran.” Authorities issued a terror alert before police stormed the Alexis de Tocqueville school in Grasse, close to France’s Mediterranean coast. The suspect’s father Franck Barbey, – a councillor for the Rally for France party – later tweeted: “Heartfelt support for the director, teachers, staff, the pupils, and parents of pupils.” The last image his son posted on Facebook before the attack was of a skeletal figure walking with firearms. He also posted the snap of a terrifying clown pointing a gun. Reports say Barbey had researched America’s 1999 Columbine school massacre in which 13 victims died. A LETTER bomb exploded at the International Monetary Fund’s Paris office yesterday and one woman suffered head and hand injuries.
