MAFIA CALM DOWN

-

SWEDISH House Mafia legends Axwell and Ingrosso believe rising DJs just don’t party the way they once did.

The duo reckon that the younger generation like Martin Garrix have too much sense than to go crazy and blow their cash.

Axwell told me: “The young people party a lot less than we used to, when we came on to the scene partying was the main thing and the music came second.

“It was pretty messy back then for us, but those coming through now, it’s pretty cute how they party.”

However, the EDM star insisted it’s a smart move given how competitive dance music has become.

He said: “It’s more serious now. People look at it like a league sport because there’s so much competition – you need to make 10 songs every week to compete.”

Despite being icons, they feel the pressure too, and hope new song I Love You sounds completely different to today’s chart music

Sebastian Ingrosso said: “We love to experiment and it’s important as a lot more people can make music in their homes NIALL Horan 1D now.” The guys played a rare intimate show at London’s Kamio last week and revealed that they have cut back on their Ibiza shows to visit Europe more often.

Ingrosso spilled: “We have played Ibiza for so many years, so we are only doing a couple of shows there now, but making them as crazy as possible.”

They have a cunning plan to keep returning to the UK even in the wake of Brexit too.

Axwell laughed: “We love UK clubbing, dance is in your bones.

“We know how to hustle our way back in. We aren’t going anywhere, we will keep coming until you build a gate.” Picture: GETTY
