PIXIE LOTT hopes Ed Sheeran will sing a song about JCB diggers at her wedding.

The Baby star announced her engagement to Oliver Cheshire.

And she would love to be serenaded by pal Ed with an old hit they both love very much.

Pixie told me: “Ed would be perfect to sing at my wedding with all his love songs

“When I first met him he was a big fan of Nizlopi who sang the JCB Song.

“We had that in common, we both love that band so it would be amazing if he would sing that song.” Ed has a habit of singing at weddings, so I wouldn’t put it past him to sing Nizlopi’s 2005 chart-topper.

Turns out Pixie and Ed go way back. She explained: “I was there with him right at the beginning because we did an audition for the talent show Britannia High together.

“From that, he’s globally smashing it. I’m super proud.”

Pixie says she will get hitched next year, explaining: “We definitely think it will be July or September next year, but we have done no planning whatsoever.

“My mum did do my sister’s in six weeks, that gives me hope.”

Meanwhile, she has returned with clubby new single Baby featuring Anton Powers.

Pix added: “It’s perfect for when the sun is shining and you hear it on the radio.

“I hope to sing it in Ibiza.”
