Vardy pace can give brittle Toffees a shake-up

- Charlie McCann of BetVictor gives StarBets his top tips

CRAIG SHAKESPEARE will equal the Premier League record for the number of consecutive wins at the start of a managerial tenure with a club if Leicester make it six on the spin in the late game at Goodison tomorrow.

The Foxes have already won at Everton in the FA Cup this season and the Toffees are without Ashley Williams after his red card at Manchester United.

I think Leicester will get a result and while confidence is tempered by the fact the Foxes have a Champions League clash in Madrid on Wednesday, I worry about Everton coping with the pace of Jamie Vardy (right).

Everton are 3-4, with last season’s title winners 21-5 and the draw 14-5.

I was disappointed in Everton’s display at Anfield last week and the second half against United when their passing was poor.

They’re a different proposition at Goodison, though, and Kevin Mirallas is 2-1 to score for a fourth game in a row against Leicester. He was playing well until he got the hook at Old Trafford in midweek.

I recommend a 1-1 draw at 7-1, although the Foxes at 11-10 on the double chance has plenty of appeal. Man United’s unbeaten league run is 20 games after the late goal against Everton but six wins from 16 is their worst home return since 1973-4.

United tomorrow travel to Sunderland, who have failed to score in six games. Jose Mourinho’s side are 4-11, with the hosts 15-2 and the draw 4-1.

I go for a 2-0 United win at 6-1. They are 23-20 to win to nil which also makes plenty of appeal.

United are out to 3-1 to finish in the top four and 5-4 favourites to win the Europa League.

Sunderland’s former United boss David Moyes is 1-3 to be the next Premier League manager to leave his post.
