TOWIE telly stars were caught up in an acid attack inside a packed nightclub that left 12 people in hospital.

The showbiz pals – including sexy Chloe Meadows, right – were among crowds at the Love Juice event in east London early yesterday.

TERRIFIED Towie stars were caught up in a nightclub acid attack.

Twelve people ended up in hospital as a “noxious substance” was sprayed at revellers.

Police are hunting the attacker who struck when a fight erupted between two rival gangs.

The Only Way Is Essex stars Lydia Bright, Chloe Meadows, Jamie Reed and his girlfriend Jade Lewis were all partying at the Love Juice event.

Hundreds of revellers were evacuated while others rushed to douse victims’ blistering skin with water.

One shocked witness said: “It was like a war. Police were everywhere.

“A lot of people were crying. I saw people ordering a bottle of water. They were putting it on them, they were splashing it on their faces.”

Neighbours described scenes of chaos as people screamed for help.

Emergency services were seen flooding the streets in the early hours yesterday.

Mum Lizzie Georgiou tweeted that her daughter “was badly burned” and spent the night at a special burns unit. She said: “She poured water over herself but the acid kept on burning.”

Two men in their 20s were in a serious but stable condition last night following the terror at Mangle club, east London.

The club said in a post on its Facebook page: “We are currently co-operating with the Metropolitan Police’s investigation into an incident that occurred on Monday morning.

“At this stage, we cannot offer any further comment.”
