STEPS want 150,000 people doing the Tragedy dance at Glastonbury this summer.
The pop quintet and Wired have joined forces to start a petition to get them to perform their No1 smash at the festival with the man who wrote it – Barry Gibb.
The Bee Gees star plays Glasto’s legends slot on June 25 and Steps would love to join him with hands beside their ears.
Claire Richards told me: “We never met Barry but he’s at Glastonbury, maybe he should get us down.
“We should go on with him it would be amazing. If we went on with him we wouldn’t get glassed. Can you imagine, Steps do Glastonbury?”

I spoke to Barry and he was thankful Steps made Tragedy so big.
He told me: “I remember the compliment of Steps doing Tragedy, but I never learned the dance moves.”
Steps release new album Tears On The Dancefloor this Friday, followed by a winter tour. Claire added: “20 years ago there was no way festivals would have touched us with a bargepole.”
H added: “We’ve become, dare I say, maybe not cool but retro.
“The nostalgia has kicked in and people are not afraid to say: ‘Hey, I like Steps.’”
