A Wright fright
TV COUPLE’S HAUNTED HOUSE
TV hunk Mark Wright lies awake at night afraid that a ghost is haunting his house. The Take Me Out: The Gossip host is convinced the ghoul roams through his mansion. And he is so scared he cannot sleep. The former Towie star fears he is going to come face-to-face with the ghost and does not like the lights turned off at the house in Chigwell, Essex.
He’s even frightened that it’s a beast from the many horror films wife Michelle Keegan keeps forcing him to watch late at night.
He said: “We’ve got really into horror films recently. Michelle loves to watch them more than me. I’m the man of the house so if something happens she just goes to sleep and I’m the one lying thinking, ‘Is that the ghost from that film in this room?’’’
Asked if he was a softie, he said: “I suppose I am in the dark and at night. I’m not the best with that.’’ His fear of spooks did not stop him joining fellow Towie cast members in a 2011 episode of ITV2’s Ghosthunting.
Mark, 30, and five of his costars spent the night in 19th century Coalhouse Fort in East Tilbury, Essex, visiting underground tunnels, a gatehouse, mess hall and aviation museum.
A source at the time said: “They all looked pretty freaked.”
A NIGHTCLUB owned by Towie star Wayne Lineker faces closure after a number of disturbances at the venue.
Police have been called to Essex House 11 times since it opened in 2015. The local authority suspended the club’s licence after a man claimed he was attacked by “drug dealers” at the nightspot in Chingford, Essex.
David King, who jointly owns the club, said the punishment was “disproportionate to the alleged events”.
