He became a “professional alcoholic” and hit rock bottom – but has now bounced back.

The Hollywood star revealed how he could “drink a Russian under the table”.
And he compared his split from Angelina to a “death.”
In a shocking interview, Brad told how he has gone into therapy and is now tee-total after hitting rock bottom.
He said his divorce was “self-inflicted”, adding: “I was boozing too much. Truthfully I could drink a Russian under the table with his own vodka. I was a professional. I was good. “It’s just become a problem.” The couple had been together for 12 years before breaking up last August.
Brad, who was spotted looking gaunt in Los Angeles earlier this year, says he has been sober for six months.
He told GQ magazine: “(The split was) self-inflicted. If you love someone, set them free. Now I know what it means, by feeling it. It means to love without ownership.
“It means expecting nothing in return. It doesn’t mean f*** all to me until you live it.”
The dad-of-six now says he “loves” therapy and is beating his booze demons.
Brad, who showed off his dramatic weight loss in a series of magazine cover shots, said: “I can’t remember a day since I got out of college when I wasn’t boozing or had a spliff, or something. “And I’m really happy it’s been half
a year now, which is bittersweet, but I’ve got my feelings in my fingertips again.”
When asked how he stopped drinking, he added: “Don’t want to live that way any more.”
Hollywood’s most famous marriage blew up amid allegations Brad had been involved in an altercation with their son Maddox, 15, on a private jet. The case was later closed with no charges.
Brad said: “I heard one lawyer say ‘No-one wins in court’. Fortunately my partner in this agrees.”
