COMEDIAN Jack Whitehall might be appearing in the new series of Game Of Thrones – as a gay imp.

And he has his mate Jamie Redknapp to thank for it.

The pair from TV’s A League Of Their Own love to prank one another on the Sky1 smash.

And when they were sent off to film their latest series – another road trip across the States – former footballer Jamie could not resist pranking his pal again.

He stole the comic’s mobile and texted Game Of Thrones star Kit Harrington asking if he could get him a role in the cult fantasy as Tyrion “The Imp” Lannister’s gay lover.

Jamie texted: “Any chance of getting me on Game Of Thrones? Been hitting the gym and I’m ripped. Hook me up, big d***.” Jamie also got hold of co-star James Corden’s mobile and texted chef Jamie Oliver.

He wrote: “Hi mate just after some advice. I can never make my bread rise, can I come and see you for a lesson? Love your work, big balls.”

The League Of Their Own stars get to stop off in Washingon on their new road trip for an unusual challenge.

They have to dress up as cheerleaders in front of 91,000 screaming fans in a stadium. However, Freddie Flintoff joked: “I’d be surprised if three of them have even heard of me!” ¬

The show starts tonight on Sky1 at 9pm.
