MORE than 130 imams and Muslim religious leaders are refusing to bury the London Bridge attackers.
They will not perform the traditional Islamic funeral prayer because of their “utter disgust” at the murderous rampage.
The move will deny the three cowards the forgiveness they need to reach paradise.
TERROR plot ringleader Khuram Butt was a wannabe gangsta rapper who loved boozing and clubbing.
Sickened former school pals blasted the hypocrisy of the beast for targeting innocent revellers in the Saturday night van and knife rampage.
Former school pals of Butt said they could not believe how he had gone from grime music-loving “class clown” to team up with Moroccan pastry chef Rachid Redouane, 30, and hotel housekeeper Youssef Zaghba, 22, to form the gang that killed seven in the weekend massacre.
A former pal who went to Rokeby School in Stratford, east London, with Butt, said: “I just can’t believe what he has done. He used to go out clubbing and drinking. It’s really hypocritical that he’s attacked people for doing what he used to do.’’
Butt was ticked off by parents for radicalising children in parks by paying them in sweets to listen to his sermons.
Security
Despite his beliefs, last year he got a job as a customer services assistant on the Tube, which gave him access to tunnels under the Houses of Parliament while working at Westminster station.
He was also employed as a security guard, according to a copy of his CV obtained by the Daily Star.
Butt, 27, got both jobs despite starring in Channel 4 documentary The Jihadis Next Door in which he was filmed unfurling an Islamic State flag in Regent’s Park.
Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson said “questions will need to be answered by MI5 and the police” into how the TV terrorist was free more than a year later to launch a terror plot which killed seven.
He said the public will want to know how Islamic State “scumbags” had slipped through the net.
Since the documentary was broadcast 17 months ago, neither the police nor security services had approached either Channel 4 or film-maker Jamie Roberts for information about any of the extremists caught on camera.
Metropolitan Police assistant commissioner Mark Rowley said Butt came under investigation by the force and MI5 in 2015.
He said as this progressed a member of the public called the antiterror hotline and reported Butt’s increasingly extremist behaviour.
But over the following months investigators could find no evidence of “attack planning” and he was downgraded as a priority.
