‘Attack’ after secret romps exposed

A TEACHER broke her lesbian lover’s jaw after she exposed their affair, a court heard.
Alexa Collier, 26, had hidden her romance with personal trainer Nicola Lees, 28, from her family, the jury was told.
She few into a violent rage when Nicola turned up at her home to reveal the truth to her mum Gill, it was alleged.
In a doorstep row, Collier’s mother branded Nicola a “slut”, “slag” and “tramp”.
The fitness guru replied: “I’m a tramp? Your daughter was in a hotel with me, s **** ing!”
Collier then launched herself at her partner, punching her in the face with such force her jaw broke, a jury at Minshull Street Crown Court in Manchester heard. Nicola said: “A neighbour came over and stood in the middle of us and I don’t remember much else. I was hit. I lost the feeling in my chin, lip and side of my face. I couldn’t physically speak because it was sore. I was just mumbling words.’’
Nicola needed surgery to fit a metal plate and three screws to hold her lower teeth in place, the jury was told.
Collier, of Chadderton, Greater Manchester, denies causing grievous bodily harm.
The court heard the couple had recently ended a three-year relationship but continued to meet up for hotel room trysts.
Nicola said Collier had told her not to tell her mum because she was “scared of coming out to her parents”.
She added: “My aim of going round was to put everything straight with her mum.”
She thought her lover was “playing with her emotions”.
