Prince’s girl Meg: ‘This is our time’

MEGHAN Markle has declared she is madly in love with Prince Harry.

The actress spoke about her royal lover for the first time nearly a year after the couple were revealed to be dating.

Speaking to Vanity Fair, she said: “We’re a couple. We’re in love.”

She added: “I’m sure there will be a time when we will have to come forward and present ourselves and have stories to tell, but I hope what people will understand is that this is our time.

“This is for us. It’s part of what makes it so special, that it’s just ours. But we’re happy. Personally, I love a great love story.

“We’re two people who are really happy and in love.”

But the 36-year-old American babe revealed her high-profile relationship had not been easy, saying: “It has its challenges, and it comes in waves – some days it can feel more challenging than others.

“And right out of the gate it was surprising the way things changed.

“But I still have this support system around me, and, of course, my boyfriend’s support.”

However, royal insiders say the news of William and Kate’s baby will force 32-year-old Harry to wait another year before getting married.

Palace aides are reportedly keen to avoid the birth and a royal wedding clashing.

A palace source revealed: “Things were all on track for them. Meghan is really disappointed her big day might be delayed.” O The October issue of Vanity Fair is on sale on Friday.
