BUT COLEEN’S THE BOSS

COLEEN Rooney yesterday showed she is calling the shots as she packed son Klay off to school – without husband Wayne.

The proud mum tweeted a photo of their four-year-old on his first day in class captioned: “Big school for my gorgeous Klay!!’’

Coleen, 31, who is pregnant with the couple’s fourth child, made no mention of Wayne or the furore surrounding his drink-drive arrest.

Rooney later turned up for a showdown with Everton boss Ronald Koeman.

Wearing his wedding ring, he arrived for the meeting nearly two hours before training began, driving a black Range Rover.

It was the first time he has been seen behind the wheel since he was stopped by police driving Laura Simpson’s VW Beetle at 2am on Friday.

He was reportedly three times over the limit.

Laura and the ex-England captain had met earlier at a club in Wilmslow, Cheshire. She said they had a “kiss and cuddle” but urged Coleen not to dump him because it was “harmless fun”.

Rooney, 31, will appear at Stockport Magistrates’ Court on September 18 charged with drink-driving.

Coleen revealed she was in no mood to be messed with when a Twitter follower mocked her picture of Klay. Referring to the fact the lad was starting at a £10,000-a-year private school, the joker tweeted: “Well that ain’t the uniform of the local comprehensive.”

Coleen hit back: “Well he wouldn’t be going to comprehensive school would he... he’s only 4! Smart get!!!’’

An Everton source said yesterday Wayne had been warned he would be axed if he stepped out of line again.
