Stylist’s designs for Meg dress
DESIGNER Giles Deacon has thrown his hat into the ring to design Meghan Markle’s wedding dress – if she marries Prince Harry.
The British couturier created the bridal gown of Pippa Middleton – the sister of Prince William’s wife Kate – for her wedding to James Matthews in May.
Harry and his American actress girlfriend are not even engaged yet but style guru Giles is already pitching for the job of making a dress fit for another princess.
He said: “If Meghan Markle was in any way interested, I would be more than delighted.
“But I’m sure she’s got plenty of other people on her list.”
Deacon claims his dream clients are those with the “most passion for fashion”, adding that he is keen on “anybody who is very passionate in wanting something beautiful”.
He added: “With all my clients I work with, they all have their absolute specialness about them.
“It’s not really about the celebrity.”
