PUNTERS CAN BANK ON CAPRI

-

-%,'A competitive heat but CAPE TO CUBA (treble) looks the answer and can finally open her account. Her second to the progressive Zabeel Prince at Nottingham back in June is starting to look useful. After a blip at Thirsk she was back on track with her run behind Psychotic. That was over course and distance where she pulled five lengths clear of the third but failed by half a length to catch the winner. This is her debut in a handicap and she appears to be on a favourable mark. Traveller has run consistently since opening his account at Lingfield in February and only found the in-form Cool Team too good over course and distance on his latest start. He should make his presence felt along with Lucymai, who hails from the yard of Dean Ivory which has been in sparkling form and has a 33% strike rate in the last 14 days.

.%,'THE MUMS (nb) ran a shocker when last seen but she is better than that and is worth another chance with cheek pieces on. The form of her previous start at Newbury is worth a close look as the two that chased her home both went to score next time out. That level of form should see her go close today. Should she falter again then hat-trick seeking Motown Mick can take advantage. He is up 5lb for his narrow success at Windsor but is clearly in a rich vein of form and may have more to offer.

/%)'Hat-trick seeking Siege Of Boston remains of interest despite a 7lb hike for his easy Chelmsford success. Noble Conquest has been gelded since his last effort at Thirsk and he has improved with each start and may show more on his handicap debut. Another making his debut in this sphere is CLIFFS OF CAPRI (nap), who is trained by Simon Crisford, pictured. He has not been seen since opening his account at Wolverhampton last November but the form of that maiden has worked out and he looks to have the scope to improve further.

0%)'Raashdy proved a length too good for THE JUGGLER when they met at Chelmsford earlier this month but the latter can take his revenge on 2lb better terms.
