PRINCE Harry’s girlfriend Meghan Markle has been offered a job as an official Yorkshire pudding taster.
Supermarket giant Asda issued the invitation after hearing that her greatgreat-great grandparents hailed from the area.
An Asda spokesman said: “What better way to welcome Meghan to the UK than inviting her to become our Yorkie tester?
“It’s the perfect way for her to connect with her Yorkshire roots.”
Meanwhile, it emerged yesterday that Prince Harry fancied the Canadian actress for two years before he met her.
The revelation comes in the TV documentary When Harry Met Meghan: A Royal Romance on Channel 4 tonight.
Royal expert Katie Nicholl says Harry revealed to a friend that his “ideal girl” was Meghan’s character Rachel Zane in US TV show Suits.
The Prince is said to have asked a mutual friend to set up a meeting when Meghan visited London last year.
Katie added: “She was funny, feisty and confident and she wasn’t swayed or knocked by the fact that he was Prince Harry.
