Heston sister hunted

POLICE are hunting the sister of top chef Heston Blumenthal after she failed to attend court accused of attacking their mother.

Alexis Blumenthal, 48, is said to have attacked her mother, Celia, 76, on two occasions.

She was due to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court yesterday charged with two counts of assault by beating. A warrant has been issued for her arrest.

The first alleged assault is said to have taken place in Thame, Oxon, earlier this month, with the second alleged attack two days later in the nearby town of Watlington.

Multi-millionaire Heston has made a series of hit shows and owns Michelin-star restaurant, The Fat Duck.
