HOUSE OF FEAR

-

A SEMI-detached house where a little girl was “terrorised by a poltergeist” has been named by ghost hunters as Britain’s most haunted home.

Legend has it a 17th Century monk was hanged near 30 East Drive in Pontefract, West Yorks, for the murder of a young girl.

The “Black Monk of Pontefract” then terrorised the Pritchard family in the 1960s, pulling Diane, 12, around by an invisible hand.
