Put your shirt on star Celina

- By TIM EVERSHED

BERSANT CELINA’S brilliant last-minute free-kick was no surprise to his Ipswich team-mates.

The Kosovan won the game with a superb dipping finish – the 21-year-old’s fourth goal since arriving on loan from Manchester City.

And it completed the visitors’ comeback after Martyn Waghorn had levelled earlier in the half.

Waghorn said of Celina: “He practises those in training so I know what he’s capable of.

“He backed himself and it was a great finish. He put me in the shade with his celebration but I don’t mind that.”

That celebration saw Celina hurl his shirt into the crowd – and embarrassingly have to ask for it back because the match hadn’t ended. And he got booked into the bargain!

“It was important we got back on the winning streak,” Waghorn added.

“We’ve played well in patches in our previous games but not managed to capitalise on it.

“It’s a good win at a good time, we’ve got three difficult fixtures starting with a big game against Cardiff on Tuesday.”

The defeat extended Burton’s winless league run to six matches but at least Ben Turner’s header ended their nine-hour goal drought.

Turner said: “We need to have a good November and December because doom and gloom is going to get us nowhere.

“We’ve got the least resources in the league, the least money, the smallest ground... but it is easy being the underdog. The lads relish it.”
