Smouldering model earns 50 times as much as PM

THE eye-watering daily pay packets of top Brit stars such as David Beckham and JK Rowling have been revealed.

Football legend Goldenballs is said to earn £135,616 a day from his multiple ventures.

And author JK rakes in £198,082 per day off the back of her Harry Potter series.

The Queen made more than usual last year and hit £117,260 a day – much of it from a Government grant to refurbish Buckingham Palace – while her grandson Prince William makes a cool £5,315 a day.

Other high-rolling Brits include singer Sir Elton John (£125,205 a day) and F1 ace Lewis Hamilton (£95,890).

Megastar Adele (£143,836) beats all four members of One Direction and Ed Sheeran (£76,986) for her daily income, making her the richest Brit celeb under 30.

And the BBC’s top female earner, Strictly host Claudia Winkleman, earns a more modest £1,918 a day.

But Prince George’s godfather the Duke of Westminster, who is just 26, welcomes a wallet-bulging £216,986 every day. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Theresa May only pockets £412 a day running the country.

Globally, Microsoft founder Bill Gates was top of the tree for earnings last year, banking £7.1million every single day.

However, he is likely to be knocked off his perch next year after Amazon chief executive Jeff Bezos overtook Gates as the richest person on the planet on Friday.

A £5billion gain in Amazon’s stock price sent Bezos’s wealth skyrocketing to more than £68bn.

TV host James Corden’s move stateside means he now commands a useful £5,479 a day, while model and actress Cara Delevingne makes £21,917.

And a showbiz high-flyer such as Hollywood babe Jennifer Lawrence can expect to command £49,863 per day.
