There has been a gradual progression from DREAM MOUNT (nap) and he appears to be on a favourable mark for his handicap debut. Adam Kirby, pictured, takes over from Harry Bentley, who guided him home at Lingfield. He was value for more than the winning margin and Kirby does ride the Wolverhampton track well. It was an improved performance from Dr Richard Kimble to finish third at Carlisle and if he builds on that then he could pose the main threat. Iconic Sunset has not been seen since opening his account at Kempton in August and is not overburdened on his handicap bow.

A tight handicap and a chance is taken with the well drawn COOL BREEZE (nb). He has a three-month absence to overcome but certainly has claims on her best form and she is not fully exposed and possibly has further improvement. Archie Stevens has not won for a couple of years but as a consequence is well treated and does come here on the back of a solid effort at Kempton. He is one for the short list along with Lady Joanna Vassa, who is just 3lb higher for her Kempton victory earlier this month.

FAIRWAY TO HEAVEN (treble) has slipped to a favourable mark and could be another one for Kirby. His last success came at Windsor last year and he now races off a 17lb lower mark. He is consistent at this level and finished with some purpose at Kempton on his latest outing. Hisar made his debut for new connections over track and trip last Friday and was backed down to favourite to make a winning start. However, he was denied a clear run at a crucial stage after a sluggish start and the market should again be monitored.

TASAABOQ has won three times on the all-weather. They have all been gained over this track and trip and with Josephine Gordon on board. His last success was gained in March and he is just 2lb higher. Monarch Maid has slipped down the ratings and is starting to look attractively weighted. She ran better than her final position suggests at Kempton where she was not helped by a wide draw. That might hinder Fantasy Justifier, who has been running well.
