GEORGE’S SEX RANT
Too many tags, says star
BOY George has blasted people who call themselves “gender fluid” or non binary rather than straight or gay.
The Culture Club star thinks there are now far too many labels for sexuality and gender.
He told Gay Times: “I feel like I’m a little bit oldfashioned – I’m kind of like how many flavours can there be?
“I feel like there’s girls and boys and there’s people that like both. What else is there?”
In recent years, men and women have started using more and more adjectives to describe themselves. His ® views were echoed in the mag by American gay singer Adam Lambert. He said: “I don’t like all the labels.” The latest tags for different sexualites include gender fluid where people claim they can switch from being masculine to feminine and back again from day to day. There is non-binary, those who say they are neither masculine nor feminine. Demigirl is someone who partially identifies as a woman regardless of their sex and pangender is a person who believes they encompass all genders.
