JAMIE TAKES BLAME FOR QUICKIE DIVORCE
Louise is in party mood
LOUISE Redknapp was granted a quickie divorce yesterday after a judge agreed husband Jamie had “behaved unreasonably”.
The golden couple’s 19-year marriage was ended in a 20-second court hearing.
Ex-footballer Jamie put up no defence to Louise’s application for divorce on the grounds of his “unreasonable behaviour”.
And Judge Ian Mulkis agreed at the Central Family Court in London that the Sky Sports pundit had behaved in such a way that the singer could not “reasonably be expected” to live with him.
He concluded that the marriage had “broken down irretrievably”.
Neither 43-yearold Louise nor Jamie, 44, right, attended court.
They are now expected to reach “amicable” terms on custody of sons Charley, 13, and Beau, nine.
The marriage is yet another victim of the “curse of Strictly” which has seen many contestants suffer love-life woes.
Their relationship appears to have been on the rocks since Louise’s appearance on the hit dancing show last year.
Just hours before her divorce was granted, Louise was spotted enjoying the wedding of Strictly choreographer Jason Gilkison and his partner James Carney.
She partied with pals including ex-Saturdays babes Frankie Bridge and Mollie King, as well as Strictly pros AJ Pritchard, Gorka Marquez and Kevin Clifton.
Louise, spotted wearing what looked like her wedding ring, even took to the stage to sing a few numbers at the Liverpool bash before heading back to her hotel holding hands with Frankie.
And yesterday she looked fresh faced and happy as she left the Hilton Liverpool City Centre hotel.
