CAMILA Cabello did not quit Fifth Harmony voluntarily – she was forced to.
Up until now fans thought it was her who wanted to leave the girlband behind.
But as her debut solo album drops today, she reveals it was the other four members who shut her out when she started writing additional material away from the group.
Camila explained: “I was just curious and I wanted to learn and I saw all these people around me making music, writing songs and being so free. I just wanted to do that and it did not work. It became clear that it was not possible to do solo stuff and be in the group at the same time.
“If anyone wants to explore their individuality, it’s not right for people to tell you, ‘No’.”
The pop princess had hoped to keep things civil but was upset when the girls alluded to her exit at the MTV VMAs.
Fifth Harmony began their performance by pushing a fifth member off the stage in an apparent dig at Camila.
She said: “It definitely hurt my feelings.
“I wasn’t expecting it, I wasn’t prepared for it – especially because at that point I’d moved on from it.”
