DAVID Beckham finally launches his Miami football team today as wife Victoria faces a business struggle.

The England football legend is set to unveil his US franchise after years of battling with objections and red tape.

But while Becks celebrates the deal, Posh is in danger of watching her fashion empire crumble.

She has been forced to slash 70% off the price of some of her designer ranges, with some items being reduced by up to £2,275.

Losses at her fashion empire doubled from £4.8million to £8.5m last year.

Husband David has reportedly previously ploughed cash into their business ventures to offset her losses.

The 43-year-old’s fortune has rocketed as he banked an £18.75m dividend from his DB Ventures company last year.

But the bailouts may have to stop as he funnels all his cash into his new Miami squad.

David has been dreaming of bringing a football team to Miami for more than four years. He is due to appear at a press conference today alongside Major League Soccer Commissioner Don Garber to anounce his plans.

Beckham, 42, was identified as a potential owner in December 2013 but since then he has had to overcome a string of obstacles which have held up the scheme.

These include the location of a new stadium, with local residents opposing a number of different areas.

Becks is spearheading investment group Miami Beckham United along with long-time adviser Simon Fuller.

The team is hoping to start playing in the 2020 season in a £158m, 25,000seater stadium.

Meanwhile, Victoria’s fashion brand is said to be struggling.

Discounted lines include a £3,250 dress now going for just £975, and a £2,250 cashmere coat now available for only £675. Posh founded the company in 2008 and it employs 180 people. An insider at Victoria Beckham Ltd insisted the clear-out was a normal end-of-season sale, adding that the firm “is in a strong financial position, with long-term backing”.
