A BOY of nine who made £8,000 a year running his own egg empire is quitting the business to become a boxer.

Junior Wyatt started as an entrepreneur after watching a TV programme about millionaires. Inspired by Channel 4 show How’d You Get So Rich?, the youngster started collecting eggs from a farm shop and selling them on for £3.50 a dozen.

His ‘Mr Free Range’ company made a profit of around £150 a week or £7,800 a year. But Junior now wants to emulate his idol, British world heavyweight champ Anthony Joshua.

He told customers: “I am really sorry but I will no longer be delivering eggs as I want to focus on my boxing career and school.

“Thank you for all the support, you have all been very kind.”

Despite Junior closing down his business, parents Georgina Warren and Michael Wyatt, both 27, of Tamworth, Staffs, insist they are proud of him.

Georgina said: “He just did not want to do it any more – it was becoming a chore and he wasn’t interested. I think he did not want to let us or anyone else down.”

And Junior’s mum and dad are right behind his bid to become a top fighter.

Georgina explained: “Junior just wants to focus on his boxing now.

“He is doing it four times a week instead of two and he’s training a lot better.

“We will support everything he does in the future and we know that Junior has a very bright future ahead of him.” Car Cane TOTAL £
