WAGNER ON THE MOUNIE

Jose faces new Terrier plot

-

THE FA Cup fifth round continues with Manchester United travelling to Huddersfield Town for a televised tie tonight.

This is a big week for Jose Mourinho’s side, who are at Sevilla in the Champions League on Wednesday.

United have lost only one of their last 13 games against Huddersfield, although that was also at the John Smith’s Stadium earlier in the season when they lost 2-1 in the league.

The FA Cup is United’s best chance of silverware this season and the 12time holders cannot afford to take their eye off the ball in what is sure to be a white-hot atmosphere.

Mourinho will not want a replay given their European commitments, but his side were wasteful at Newcastle last Sunday and I think David Wagner’s Terriers will get a draw, which is priced at 18-5.

Going into this week’s Champions League firstleg, last-16 ties, BetVictor bet 16-1 all five Premier League sides making it through to the quarters.

With due respect to the emphatic wins on the road from Manchester City and Liverpool, the best showing came from Tottenham after their nightmare start against Juventus.

BetVictor now bet 5-6 that four or more English sides get through – the same price for three or fewer. And that 16-1 for all five to reach the quarters? That’s now just 5-1.

Back to the FA Cup and Spurs superstar Harry Kane returns to Rochdale tomorrow. The England skipper made his debut for Leyton Orient at Spotland when on loan in 2011.

Whether Kane is selected or not, I cannot see past a Spurs win (1-7), however I do not think it will be a mauling.

I am looking forward to seeing winger Lucas Moura play for Tottenham, although what the ex-PSG man makes of the Spotland pitch, who knows.

Man City go to League One promotion hopefuls Wigan on Monday in a repeat of the 2013 final.

The clubs have gone in different directions since and it is hard to believe the 16-1 Latics can beat Pep Guardiola’s side (1-7).

The draw is 7-1 with BetVictor.

City put four past Basel in midweek and I believe they’ll take another small step to a possible cleansweep of major trophies.

City are 9-2 with BetVictor to win the domestic treble of league, EFL Cup and FA Cup, and 16-1 to add the Champions League to what would be an unprecedented haul. Norwich to beat Ipswich tomorrow .................... 8-11 Go to BetVictor.com
