WWE Wrestlemania 34 airs live from the Superdome in New Orleans on the WWE Network from midnight on Sunday, April 8 – visit network. wwe.com for more details.

WWE brought out the big guns in the build-up to Wrestlemania this week as Triple H and Stephanie McMahon hit the phones for the event.

The couple at the epicentre of the global leader are hands-on at all times.

Triple H has flown 21,000 miles in four days this month in his executive role and Stephanie, burning the midnight oil between training for her first match in four years, while juggling motherhood and business, admits: “I’m sleeping less than usual!”

They’ve got their hands full in the ring of course with Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey to contend with in New Orleans.

“Ronda has done an incredible job,” says Stephanie. “She’s not only one of the world’s greatest athletes, but consider her star power, her charisma, her personality. Ronda is real. She’s genuine. She’s authentic.”

Rousey’s aptitude for the physical element is no surprise, a pointed symmetry exists between herself and fellow Olympian tag partner Kurt Angle, Stephanie contends.

Steph, above right with Triple H, says: “It’s such a shame Ronda has had to hurt her own ride in WWE by challenging me, now I’m going to have to put her in her place. Then it’ll be up to me to rebuild her again.”

Triple H is more direct, a nononsense man who tries to be as candid as he can be when asked about the status of the UK Championship. The bells and whistles were in full volume 16 months
