Just a minute, Lions!

- BY IAN WINROW

NEIL HARRIS insists it was no accident Millwall’s play-off charge was fired up by another explosive start.

Shaun Williams headed Harris’ side into a 27-second lead – the third time in four games they have scored inside the opening minute.

And Lee Gregory’s 33rd-minute second sealed the win to extend Millwall’s unbeaten run to 13 games.

Lions boss Harris said: “I hope none of you were late. What a great start we had again, it’s a good habit.

“We like to impose ourselves on games early and we wanted to get after Forest today.

“I am not surprised by the number of early goals – we train with that intensity all the time.

“Maybe Steve Morison should take the credit for his talk in the huddle before kick-off.

“It was the perfect opening in front of a sell-out crowd.

“We have no pressure on us, and that helps.

“As regards any chance of the play-offs it is one game at a time, and let’s beat Ipswich on Monday.

“If the play-offs are no longer just a dream it is a lot of hard work that has got us there.

“But I tell the players I want more. I like seeing them winning.”

Williams headed home from Ben Marshall’s cross and Gregory doubled the lead after being set up by Morison.

Forest manager Aitor Karanka was fuming at the way his side were caught out so early.

He said: “We have prepared for this for two weeks. The players knew what to expect.

“If anyone thinks there is nothing to play for in the last seven games, they are wrong.

“I want to win every game and the players have to show me they should be here next season.”
