Baby for 007 Daniel and wife Rachel, 48
JAMES Bond star Daniel Craig and his wife Rachel Weisz have announced they are having a baby.
The actress, 48, said she is thrilled” to be expecting “a little human” with her husband, 50. Rachel gushed: “I’ll be showing soon. Daniel and I are so happy. We’re going to have a little human. “We can’t wait to meet him or her. It’s all such a mystery!” The Constant Gardener star is already a mother to 11-yearold Henry, her son from a relationship with director Darren Aronofsky. And 007 superstar Daniel has a 25-year-old daughter from his marriage to Fiona Loudon. The intensely private couple wed in 2010 after a whirlwind romance. Speaking about their marriage, Rachel said: “It’s very personal, it’s very private. I don’t think mine is particularly exceptional apart from that we’re both in the public eye.
“But I never thought I would get married. It was not an ambition of mine. It was the opposite.”
It will be a big year for the actress, whose upcoming movie Disobedience is set to be released in the coming months.
And Rachel will thrill fans with her first lesbian sex scenes. She confessed that the steamy encounters were “softer” than anything she had filmed onscreen with a man. She added that she and her co-star Rachel McAdams “both felt very vulnerable and there was a real sweetness”. She added: “I don’t know if male actors ask this question, but I know women normally think, ‘Is this sex scene really necessary?’ In this case, it’s essential.” The Star Says: P6
