BILL Cosby faces up to 30 years in jail after he was convicted last night of drugging and sexually assaulting a woman.

A jury convicted the 80-year-old US comedian and actor of three counts of aggravated indecent assault.

The star, best known as the lovable father in the TV hit The Cosby Show, showed no emotion as the verdicts were read out.

Cosby assaulted Temple University employee Andrea Constand, 45, at his Philadelphia home in 2004, the court ruled. He knocked her out with three blue pills he called “your friends” before attacking her, she testified.

His lawyer labelled her a “con artist” making false allegations so she could sue him.

But a jury of five women and seven men convicted him at Montgomery County Courthouse outside Philadelphia following a 14-day trial.

Dozens of women have come forward in recent years to say Cosby drugged and assaulted them. Some of his victims in the public gallery burst into tears.

One of them Lili Bernard said after the case: “It’s a victory, not just for the 62 of us who have come forward, but for all survivors of sexual assault, female and male.”

Cosby, who will be out on bail until he is sentenced, reacted angrily in court after the case. He used an expletive to refer to District Attorney Kevin Steele and shouted: “I’m sick of him.”
