You’ll Pan them

NORTHERN IRELAND boss Michael O’Neill is confident England will not suffer a giant-killing when they face Panama in the World Cup.

O’Neill’s side drew 0-0 in Panama yesterday.

And O’Neill reckons there will be no repeat of England’s Euro 2016 humbling by Iceland when they face the World Cup debutants.

O’Neill said: “I’d be surprised if England and Belgium don’t beat ENGLAND Women boss Phil Neville has recalled Chelsea defender Millie Bright and Manchester City midfielder Jill Scott to his squad for the World Cup qualifier away to Russia.

The pair missed last month’s goalless draw against Wales and the 2-0 win over Bosnia-Herzegovin­a because of injury.

“They have a great pride playing for their country and when you have that you’re capable of producing results.

“We will have to be ruthless when opportunit­ies come our way, but it is important we remain patient, focused and calm until they do.

“Everyone is in a positive mood about the challenge ahead and wants to end the season on a high.”
