JESSE Lingard won his first World Cup title yesterday in a game of 10-pin bowling.

The Manchester United ace challenged teammates at an alley near the Three Lions’ hotel in Repino, Russia.

Others taking part in the contest at the FA’s World Cup HQ included Trent Alexander-Arnold of Liverpool and Tottenham’s Kieran Trippier.

And asked afterwards who had won, proud Jesse beamed: “I did.”

Chelsea star Gary Cahill took on all-comers at darts nearby and also tried his hand at the 10-pin bowling.

One onlooker said: “They all looked so relaxed. There was plenty of banter going on.

“I don’t think England fans need worry about any lack of team spirit. They all looked like they are bosom buddies.”

Meanwhile England players were not so happy the night before when they were forced to make a late-night call to

TV bosses so they could watch Love Island.

Most of the squad are hooked on the ITV2 reality show, which is not screened in Russia.

ITV2 is one of four English-language channels

Sky TV chiefs have agreed to beam into the Three Lions’ hotel so the players can keep tabs on the love action between matches.

But when the latest episode was due to start the frustrated players found their televisions tuned to the wrong station.

So an 11pm call was placed to TV chiefs in charge of the picture feed to ask them to change channels.

A source said: “The staff in charge of the feed were stunned to get a call late at night asking them to fix the TV feed so the players could watch Love Island.

“Apparently they couldn’t get ITV2 when the show was on. They must be genuinely hooked on it.

“The Sky staff were only too happy to help solve the problem.’’

Before the tournament England captain Harry Kane admitted some of the players were big fans of the show.

He said: “I know a few of the lads have been talking about it. I am sure the lads will be catching up with it if we get it out there in Russia.’’

An official close to the England team said: “Many of the players are Love Island fans.

“We are having English language TV channels beamed into the hotel so they can enjoy it.’’

The tournament kicked off yesterday, with Russia beating Saudi Arabia 5-0 in Moscow.

WE told you Tom Walker was going to have a huge year, and he’s well on track. Leave A Light On, which features on the Sony Bravia ad, has gone to No1 on iTunes in 14 countries including the UK!

HARRY Kane is tearing music families apart now the World Cup has kicked off.

Scouting For Girls have penned their unofficial footie anthem England I Still Believe, and frontman Roy Stride admits he recently fell out with his eight-year-old son Freddie, who idolises Harry.

The young lad is the first Stride family member in decades not to support QPR, because he’d rather get behind Harry at Spurs.

Roy, inset, told me: “My son supports Tottenham because of Harry Kane!

“I’ve been a life-long QPR supporter, my dad was a supporter, my grandad was a supporter and worked at the club and my greatgrandad
