- Jamie Vardy Fabian Delph Danny Rose Unused: Referee: RATINGS by PAUL BROWN

Still doesn’t look entirely comfortable in a back three but gets out of trouble with his pace. Still settling in. In the wars. Took a smack in the face and involved in a flare-up. Used the ball well and always a threat at set pieces. Involved in one goal and went close himself. Moved the ball forward as much as possible, and won it back regularly.

Had the shot which deflected off Kane’s heel for his hat-trick. In for the injured Dele Alli and doesn’t look out of place.

Took an early whack in the face but went on to win a penalty and smash home a belter. Gives England something different in midfield.

Only the third England player ever to score a hat-trick in a World Cup. Two blinding penalties and surely the favourite for the Golden Boot now.
