It’s Well hard now
PAUL Weller says there would be no chance of The Jam making it big in the modern music scene.
He said labels were not interested in developing rock bands.
The “Modfather”, 60, claimed they just wanted a “quick hit” and musicians could no longer learn their craft.
Paul said: “I don’t think we’d have got signed. We’d have put our music up online.
“We would have carried on making music and playing, but would have had to have crappy day jobs.”
