#MeToo sparks a change
YOUNG people are more likely to speak up against sexual harassment as a result of the #MeToo campaign.
More than half of 18 to 34-year-olds said the social media campaign had changed what is seen as acceptable behaviour towards women.
The hashtag is used to show how widespread harassment is.
The Fawcett Society now wants the Government to introduce a new duty on large employers to prevent discrimination at work.
Chief Sam Smethers said: “It is time for tougher legislation and real, lasting culture change.”
