RAPE ROW RONALDO’S GIRL STANDS BY HER MAN
CRISTIANO Ronaldo’s girlfriend has declared her love for him after a woman alleged he raped her in a Las Vegas hotel.
Georgina Rodriguez, 23, posted a supportive message on Instagram for the football ace.
Model Kathryn Mayorga, 34, claimed in US court papers that the Portuguese football ace attacked her at the Palms Casino Resort.
Ronaldo, 33, has denied the allegation, dismissing it as fake news.
Georgina posted a photo of herself wearing a mini-skirt and high heels while watching a football match and wrote: “You always transform the obstacles that are put in your way into impulse and strength to show how great you are. Thank you for making us enjoy each game.
“Always more and better. I love you Cristiano.”
The Spanish beauty has been dating the star for two years and is mum of his daughter Alana.
Ronaldo rejected the rape allegations, dating from 2009, in an Instagram video. Answering a fan’s question about the claim, he said: “They want to promote (themselves) by (using) my name. It’s normal. They want to be famous to say my name, but it is part of the job.
“I am a happy man and all good.” Ronaldo reportedly previously agreed to pay Ms Mayorga £287,000 to stop her going public and pursuing criminal charges, which could have seen him jailed for life.
Her lawyers are now trying to overturn the settlement.
Ms Mayorga, then 25, was working in Rain nightclub inside the Palms Casino Resort when she met the player.
Paparazzi photos showed them chatting before he invited her and a pal to his penthouse suite.
