‘Killer’s plea to clean room’

A HOTEL boss has told how he was asked to clean a room by a guest who allegedly hacked a transgender woman to death during a sex session.

Jesse McDonald, 25, is accused of drugging Naomi Hersi, 36, before stabbing her with a knife and a broken bottle.

He is said to have killed her at the Heathrow Palace hotel after they met on a swingers’ website.

McDonald is said to have recruited his Polish lover, Natalia Darkowska, who was 17 at the time, to help him clean the room.

Hotel owner Aduham Nawzil told the Old Bailey that McDonald called him two days after the alleged murder to ask him to tidy the bloodstained bedroom.

He added: “He just said he had a big fight, that he smashed the room. I told him straight away, ‘Just go get help, please’.”

Mr Nawzil took police to the room and they found Ms Hersi’s half-naked body on the bathroom floor.

McDonald, of Hounslow, west London, denies murder and perverting justice.

Darkowska, of Trowbridge, Wilts, denies assisting an offender and perverting the course of justice.

The trial continues.
