Bluebirds Ken do better

- By ALEX BYWATER

KENNETH ZOHORE misfired again as Cardiff were beaten 2-1 by Burnley.

But Bluebirds midfielder Callum Paterson insists the Danish striker isn’t the only one to blame for Neil Warnock’s side’s struggles this season.

Warnock warned Zohore he expected more from him before handing the Dane a chance to impress from the off against the Clarets on Sunday.

The 24-year-old striker forced Joe Hart into one smart save, but is still without a top-flight goal.

“Everyone knows what big Ken is capable of, but you can’t just single somebody out,” said Paterson.

“It wasn’t Ken’s best game because we didn’t get the result we needed, but I think everyone has to work harder in training. Ken is the guy who scores the goals for us, but everyone needs to start pulling their weight to try to find the back of the net.”

Burnley goals from Johann Berg Gudmundsson and Sam Vokes meant a strike from the impressive Josh Murphy was meaningless.

Cardiff have yet to win this season and face a daunting trip to Wembley to face Tottenham on Saturday.

But Paterson said: “Our heads aren’t down, absolutely not. We’ve always been a positive team.

“We’ve not started great and we know that, but we need to look to build with each game. We have to keep the faith.”
