MANCHESTER United plan to bring in genderneutral loos at Old Trafford.

The move is designed to make the match day experience more “welcoming and inclusive”.

If the plan gets the go-ahead, United, under manager Jose Mourinho, will become the first top-flight club to introduce the toilets.

According to the September fans’ forum, the club’s head of security Jim Liggett said: “It’s something that we are looking at as

“He considers (rape) an abject act and clearly reaffirms that he is innocent of what he is being accused of.

He added on Portugal’s Twitter feed: “In the future nothing prevents Cristiano from giving his contribution to the national team.’’

Ms Mayorga has filed a lawsuit in the US seeking damages from the footballer she alleges attacked her in his penthouse suite. It claims she was coerced into signing a $375,000 (£332,000) out-ofcourt settlement with Ronaldo in 2010 which she wants declared void.

Her lawyer Leslie Stovall said she wants damages for emotional pain, post traumatic stress disorder and depression which she says she has suffered.

She is also seeking compensation to cover earnings she claims she lost due to those conditions and the cost of her medical bills.

Mr Stovall said: “It appears Kathryn felt she had to sign the settlement agreement to avoid further discussions or negotiations about the sexual assault and that in and of itself was traumatic.’’

Las Vegas Police have reopened their investigation into the attack. They said in a statement that at the time the alleged victim “did not provide detectives with the location of the incident or suspect description”.

Ronaldo dismissed the allegation as “fake news” and on Wednesday tweeted: “I deny the accusations being issued against me. Rape is an abominable crime that goes against everything that I am and believe in.’’

His lawyers plan to sue German newspaper Der Spiegel for publishing the allegations which they say was “blatantly illegal”.

Nike, who sponsor the star, last night said: “We are deeply concerned by the disturbing allegations and will continue to closely monitor the situation.” we are keen to ensure Old Trafford continues to be welcoming and inclusive to all supporters.

“I will keep you posted regarding progress. ®

“Our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion is important in everything we do and we’re constantly working with key stakeholders, including Stonewall, on such topics.’’
