Every day is a holiday for Meghan and Harry, and on the streets of the UK people get called dole scroungers for doing jack all like the lazy royals.

Wise Ged

°

Great to see the royal scroungers wined and dined Down Under, all thanks to working poor, disabled and mentally ill. WURZEL

°

I find the lavish treatment of Meghan and Harry’s baby totally disgusting. How many people do they need to deliver the new royal brat? £8,000 a night at the hospital and Harry prentends to be one of us as well. Wise Ged

°

What happens if Megan goes into labour when she’s out of London, do they get the RAF to get her Med team to her? Graham Ayr

°

I see in the Star that Duchess Meghan left the tag on her dress, it’s only what most girls do, they wear it once for a special occasion then take it back to shop for a refund.

Why do politicians talk in billions, a billion here a billion there us out here live in a real world where one shilling and fluppence is a lot of money, are we going to end up like Germany during the war years when they took there wages home in a wheel barrow I wonder?

That smug faced tory git philip hammond says he givin schools a bit off money so they can buy a few wee extras – what a slap in the face 4 teachers! Fa smithy

°

Tories are always eager to boast about all the extra jobs they’ve created. The truth is that every time a full time job becomes available it’s filled by four people working on zero hour contracts. That’s where all these new ‘jobs’ are coming from. Johnny Roberts

°

The cheek of Hammond saying wages are rising at the highest rate in 10 years – no s**t sherlock, you froze public sector wages since 2010. judy b

The tories only aim is to end the state and help their greedy rich pals in london. THE PLEB

°

I will be better off by about £11 pounds a month with the rise in Personal Allowance of this so-called “Give-Away” Budget, but if my income was £50,000 I would be better off by over £70 pounds a month. Where is the fairness in this? Does this sound like the end of austerity to you? Surely the income tax threshold should have been raised to £15,000 to create a level playing-field for the lowest paid in our society? It is now time for a change of Government that helps the poorest in our population instead of the richest in our land. SHAKEYMAN48

°

£1.9bn taken from Scotland thanks to these heartless tories, I hope we clobber the rich the ones who have took it. Stevie, m/well

°

Yet again the budget cripples the poor and lines pockets of the rich, Also government give 40billion to fix India’s roads and only 420mill for our own roads. Time for a revolution in this country – bring government down and refuse to pay tax. Stockton jeff

°

Hammond says he is helping the low paid and poorer people. Why then have we still got foodbanks. ANNE FIELD

°

Got to agree with Charlton Gary: Most so called “poor” people on my estate smoke, drink and are scratch card kings and queens. When you go to buy a paper you here them complaining about having no money to pay bills. Funny that. Toon kev

°

The labour party are a bunch of hypncrites. corbyn once again goes on about zero hour contracts. But hasn’t answered my letter pointing out that my local councal which is labour run employs over 300 people on zero hour contracts can he answer why? DMan

In the imminent event of us derailing the EU gravy train, I note farmers and probably landed Gentry are setting their stall out early to carry on getting paid, by us, NOT to plough or farm! Trevull
