REVENGE PORN BOSS MADE GIRL SUICIDAL
She posted explicit pics of lover’s ex
A JEALOUS businesswoman drove her boyfriend’s ex to a suicide bid by posting explicit snaps of her online.
Rachel Dale, 28, found the images on Alex Montgomery’s phone.
The fashion buyer sent a message to his former lover warning: “They will be all over the internet tomorrow.’’
Then she shared them with her 2,000 Instagram followers.
Dale deleted the photos after just eight minutes, but they had already been circulated via social media.
The victim was so devastated she tried to take her own life.
Ashley Seetal, prosecuting at Tameside Magistrates’ Court, Gtr Manchester, said: “This was a serious attempt and she was taken to hospital and received treatment.” Dale wept as she admitted disclosing a private sexual photograph with intent to cause distress under so-called revenge porn laws.
But she escaped with a 12-week jail sentence suspended for a year after the court heard she “acted on impulse” and quickly deleted the pictures.
Recruitment boss Alex, 28, who is standing by Dale, watched from the public gallery.
The court heard he had a brief relationship with the victim several years ago before he met his current partner.
The woman, who cannot be named, sent him various explicit pictures of herself.
Dale declined to comment as she left court. COUPLE: Dale and Alex
GUILTY: Dale leaves Tameside Magistrates’ Court where she admitted a revenge porn charge
