BOSSES have signed up telly favourite Eve Myles.
The Welsh actress has joined the cast for the new series. “Eve is one of the hottest names on telly right now.
“The team are so pleased they’ve got her on board. They think she’s a perfect fit for the show.”
Eve will be at the centre of the action as the latest love interest for Adam, played by James Nesbitt.
Our source added: “At the end of the last series we saw Adam’s romance with Tina fall apart. Now he’s single his friends want to see him find love again.
“So Karen sets him up with her friend.”
Eve’s character is said to be based on writer Caitlin Moran, who penned TV comedy
Raised By Wolves.
Eve will make her debut when the show returns in January.
It is her latest primetime role.
Earlier this year she thrilled viewers in drama
Keeping Faith, which has had a second series commissioned.
She is also known to fans of Broadchurch, Victoria, Frankie, Torchwood and Doctor Who.
JOE Thomas, Simon Bird, Blake Harrison and James Buckley are reuniting for a 10th-anniversary TV special.
