Crouchy in Santa shocker
LANKY Peter Crouch thought he was being burgled when he spotted a 6ft inflatable Santa in his house.
The 37-year-old Stoke City and former England striker and his model wife Abbey Clancy, 32, had bought the figure at a garden centre.
But 6ft 7in tall Crouchy forgot all about it when he came home in the middle of the night and got a massive shock.
He said he had the “life scared out of him” when he saw the hooded figure lurking inside his house in Surrey.
Crouch told his Radio Five Live podcast listeners: “It looked like a big fella – he’s a big man Santa, isn’t he?”
