Cabbies’ work win

DRIVERS at taxi giant Addison Lee have won a claim to be treated as workers, not self-employed.

The Employment Appeal Tribunal agreed they were legally entitled to rights such as national minimum wage and holiday pay.

Bosses at Addison Lee had appealed against the original ruling.

It follows similar court decisions involving taxi firm Uber and delivery company Hermes.
