The 56-year-old telly star says he has rejected lots of offers to enter the Jungle over the years.

But this year he knows some of the crew, who he is confident will not stitch him up by editing the daily footage to make him look bad.

Asked why he had changed his mind to appear on the show, Nick said: “I know one or two of the production team and I felt that

I could trust them.”

Ladies’ man Nick insists he is not looking for romance in the Jungle.

And the dad-of-four says his days of being a womaniser are over.

“I’m actually quite happy being single at the moment,” he said.
