THE Queen eats bananas with a fork to avoid ® looking like a monkey, as we reported yesterday – but she is not the only famous figure with some wacky eating habits. Celebrities make some seriously bizarre chomping choices. Here JAMES MOORE makes a meal out of some of their wildest table manners…
No finger lickin’: In 2016, fast food fanatic Donald Trump tweeted a picture of himself eating KFC chicken with a knife and fork and, according to some reports, the US leader also uses them for tucking into pizza.
Nookie nosh: Hollywood actor Nicholas Cage says: “I actually choose the way I eat according to the way animals have sex. I think fish are very dignified with sex. So are birds. But pigs, not so much.”
Grass act: In 2011, after winning the men’s title at Wimbledon, tennis champ Novak Djokovic started eating the grass on the court. He said: “It tastes good.”
Wine not: Just this week Madonna posted a video on Instagram revealing that she drinks wine from a spoon, but the singer did not explain why.
Cob a load of this: In 2016, Canadian crooner Michael Bublé was snapped eating corn on the cob from the end rather than side.
Causing a stir: At concerts, Jennifer Lopez insists that her coffee is always stirred anticlockwise.
Dead good: Facebook boss Mark Zuckerberg has twice challenged himself to eat only meat he kills himself. In 2011, having learned to hunt, he posted: “I just killed a pig and a goat.”
Wee dram: Pop star Ke$ha has been known to drink her own urine. She admits this is “pretty gross”.
Ice one: Actress Renée Zellweger snacks on ice cubes during the day, saying: “As long as I get that ‘constant feed’ feeling, it’s semi-tolerable.”
Goal for it: Leicester and England striker Jamie Vardy once revealed that his prematch
ritual involves downing three cans of energy drink and a double espresso.
Purple patch: Singer Mariah Carey has been known to eat only purple foods three days a week, such as plums.
Bug-eyed: Angelina Jolie regularly munches on cockroaches and scorpions.
Losing her noodle? Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards adds Wotsits to her Pot Noodles saying: “It’s so good.”
King-sized: Singer Elvis Presley downed 8,000-calorie deep bread stuffed with whole jars of peanut butter and jam and 1lb of bacon.
Fry this: England and Man Utd star Ashley Young eats chips in pairs, measuring so they are the same length. He admits this is “quite weird”.
