MEGHAN has sent sales of Wellington boots soaring.

The Duchess of Sussex, 37, wore the British footwear on a tour of Australia and New Zealand.

And her fashion sense sparked orders from around the world.

Shops have reported a 25% rise in sales of the boots in desert state Dubai, one of the driest places on Earth.

And UK-based Great British Outfitters has ordered more

Muck Boots and other designs after being flooded with inquiries.

The firm’s director Johnny Bowen said: “The demand for the Muck Boot brand was immediate once the pictures of Meghan went on to social media.

“She wears the Pacy II Equestrian model which is a classic Wellington boot with some modern touches that makes it very stylish.

“We are seeing orders for them come in from all over the world.”

Great British Outfitters, based in Co Durham, launched in the Middle East earlier this year due to a demand for classic British clothing.

During the royal tour Down Under last month, Meghan and hubby Prince Harry took part in a game of welly-hurling.

The royal, who is pregnant with the couple’s first child, won the competition after managing to get the footwear close to the targets.

She wore a pair of £120 boots for the contest. LETTING FLY: Meghan
