Aubameyang should give Gunners the edge
ARSENAL may be on a 15-game uneaten run in all competitions but they could face a stiff test tomorrow when they return to Premier League action at Bournemouth.
Both sides have been in fine form so far this season and the Cherries have continued to perform above expectation.
Arsenal’s impressive run of results included a winning streak of 11 games.
So where’s the value on the south coast?
If head-to-heads are anything to go by, then you’d be wise not to rule Bournemouth out. Eddie Howe’s men ran out 2-1 winners in this fixture last year and 5-2 says they take the points again.
Striker Callum Wilson is 5-1 to open the scoring and, having netted a goal on his England debut last week, that’s not a bet I’d shy away from – especially given that he’s scored in three of the last four games against Arsenal.
He’s also averaging a goal every two games this season.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang signed for Arsenal after that
Dean Court defeat in January and, given that the Gabon international hasn’t hit the net in four outings, it’s about time he grabbed a goal. The French-born striker (right) is 13-10 to score at any time and 21-10 to net in an away win. You’d have to say this is a big game for the fifth-placed Gunners, who will be hoping a few of their top-four rivals drop some points today. There’s no need to panic just yet and there’s certainly a long way to go in the campaign, but they are three points off a Champions League spot as things stand.
A must-win match? Probably not, but after four draws on the bounce in all competitions Unai Emery’s side could certainly do with a victory. And at 19-20, I fancy them to do exactly that.
